Dike Drummond, MD, CEO and Founder of TheHappyMD.com, partners with SE Healthcare and its team to bring the Physician Burnout Prevention Program to physicians and their organizations through a scalable online program. His expertise on the subject of physician burnout is integral in creating a tool that helps physicians and their organizations properly address the issue of burnout and make improvements to patient engagement and care, as well as develop healthier, higher performing physicians and organizations.
Drummond has logged over 2100 hours of one-on-one physician coaching experience and he has trained over 30,000 doctors on behalf of over 163 corporate clients.
Drummond earned his degree from Mayo Medical School in Rochester Minnesota in 1984. He followed that with a Family Practice Residency at Shasta Cascade Health Centers, located in Redding, California, in 1987.
After completion of his residency, Drummond served as an Emergency Room Physician at Redbud Community Hospital, located in Clearlake California. This began an 11-year career practicing Family Medicine as a member of the Skagit Valley Medical Center, where he also served as Chairman of the Executive Committee and Managed Care Medical Director.
In 1999, after suffering from career-ending burnout, Drummond launched his Interactive Guided Imagery Practice, kicking off his successful transition into entrepreneurship. He later served as COO of Superteams, LLC, during which time he provided leadership and facilitation training to Lead Six Sigma black belts across all branches of the military.
