Christopher Tashjian Joins SEHQC Board of Directors
CHARLESTON, SC, December 1, 2016 — The SE Healthcare Quality Consulting Board of Directors announced Christopher Tashjian, MD, has joined their board effective September 17, 2016.
Dr. Tashjian is a board-certified physician and Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians and a thought leader who is active in setting policy for the medical community. He is currently a Partner of Vibrant Health Family Clinics (formerly River Falls/Ellsworth/Spring Valley Medical Clinics) in Wisconsin.
Among his board positions, Dr. Tashjian is Chair of the Board of Directors for Constellation Mutual; a Health IT Fellow; Co-Chair of the Medical Board of Governors and Chair of the Health Transformation Committee for the Board of Directors of HealthPartners Inc.; and he also currently serves on the Scientific Advisory Board of the National Forum for Heart Disease and Stroke Prevention and the Medical Advisor to Metastar, Wisconsin’s QIO.
In addition, Dr. Tashjian is a board member for Matter, a non-profit organization out of Minneapolis committed to expanding access to health around the world.
Dr. Tashjian’s special medical interests include EMR, public health, emergency medicine, quality care & measurement, and physician leadership.
