SE Healthcare Consulting Expands
CHARLESTON, SC, January 9, 2015 – SE Healthcare Quality Consulting today announced its appointment of new leadership to support its growing national operations.
Former long-time IBM executive Douglas G. Shand has been named Chief Operations Officer.
Mr. Shand has more than 30 years of experience and expertise in operations, management, marketing and business development. He also has expertise in business transformation leadership and strategy development, complex system integrations and information technology, specifically as they apply to a health care setting.
Prior to joining SE, Mr. Shand led the sales and marketing efforts for MedStatix, a medical specialty patient experience solution for physician practices involving surveys and mobile tools that deliver real-time quality metrics and actionable insights to create more engaged patients, reduce risk and increase both retention and referral rates. He also led the strategy and business development efforts of a personalized health care navigation company.
Mr. Shand received a Bachelor of Commerce degree from McGill University, Montreal, Quebec.
