LANCASTER, PA – SE Healthcare’s Christopher Rumpf, MD was recently invited to present A Case Study of Employee Evaluation, Prevention, and Treatment of Burnout at the upcoming Fall Reimbursement Conference hosted by The Healthcare Financial Management Association’s (HFMA) Pennsylvania chapter. The HFMA is the nation’s leading membership organization for more than 40,000 financial management professionals employed across various areas within the healthcare field.
During the presentation, Dr. Rumpf will use a case study to highlight the organizational and personal characteristics that lead to physician burnout. He will review the operational and financial impacts of burnout, describe the organizational and personal activities needed to prevent and treat the issue and compare and contrast physicians to employees from other industries.
Dr. Rumpf serves as Vice President and Chief Clinical Officer at SE Healthcare. He brings 35 years of clinical leadership in the areas of quality, safety and reimbursement to the team. Recently, Dr. Rumpf played an integral role in the creation of SE’s Physician Burnout Prevention Program, an online program that is changing the way healthcare organizations address and prevent burnout. His expertise, along with that of other industry thought leaders, led to the release of the most comprehensive physician burnout strategy on the market.
“I’m honored that this great organization selected me to speak on such a critical topic and to have the opportunity to continue to address the important conversations that are happening around the subject of physician burnout,” said Dr. Rumpf.
