CHARLESTON, SC, April 7, 2017 – SE Healthcare Quality Consulting is pleased to welcome Stephanie K. Sargent, MHA, RN, CPPS as Vice President of Product Development & Quality. In this role, Stephanie will oversee the continued development of the Physician Empowerment Suite©, a scientifically-based tool that is comprised of a combination of Patient Experience and Clinical Safety survey tools that allow practices to generate credible data that reduces and mitigates risk and liability while improving the economics of physician offices and hospitals. In addition, Ms. Sargent will ensure the ongoing growth and success of the Suite and other related SE Healthcare programs.
Ms. Sargent, a seasoned clinical and Lean Six Sigma professional, joins SE with more than 22 years of experience in health care. She most recently served as the Patient Safety Program Manager at the Medical University of South Carolina where she directed safety efforts throughout the health system and provided strategic direction and oversight of all programmatic initiatives to improve patient safety. Early in her career, she served as a Performance Improvement Facilitator at MUSC where she led numerous large scale, multidisciplinary, improvement projects. Ms. Sargent received a M.H.A. from the Medical University of South Carolina, B.A. from Clemson University and A.D. in Nursing from Dekalb College. She is a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt professional and certified Just Culture trainer.
