Long Time General Counsel for TJUH System Joins SE Healthcare

CHARLESTON, SC and LANCASTER, PA, June 1, 2016 — SE Healthcare Quality Consulting, LLC is pleased to welcome Stacey Meadows, Esq., former Senior Vice President and General Counsel of TJUH System comprising of Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals, affiliated physician practices and healthcare companies, to the organization’s Lancaster office. Ms. Meadows will serve as Senior Counsel and will collaborate with Richard K. Hammer, M.D. and Daniel E. Shapiro, M.D. on business development for the Partners in Safety Program – Hospital Division, as well as high level strategic issues for SE Healthcare clients.

Ms. Meadows brings over 25 years of experience to SE Healthcare, with much of her time focused on patient safety, quality assurance and physician integration issues. As General Counsel for a large urban academic medical center, she was responsible for legal affairs and corporate governance for all clinical boards and board committees and also managed the Risk Management, Claims Management and Patient Safety departments.

As a critical member of the Partners in Safety Program – Hospital Division, Stacey will aid hospitals and physician groups in reducing and mitigating risk and liability while improving economics. The program includes the Physician Empowerment Suite – a new product launched through collaboration between SE Healthcare Quality Consulting and Saxton & Stump and the first tool of its kind to be developed by such a unique collaboration of healthcare and legal experts. The suite is a scientifically-based software tool that consists of two platforms —The Patient Experience platform and The Clinical Safety platform.
